About Brown Lily

 

Hello and welcome! My name is Alex, the maker behind Brown Lily, a small bespoke handmade business based in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW.

From my home studio in Bowral, I design and create a range of bespoke, heirloom-quality gifts and homewares for children and adults. Each piece is lovingly handcrafted using the vibrant and iconic Liberty of London Tana Lawn™ fabrics, along with a curated selection of fabrics. Whether it's a personalised towel, cushion, name banner, bows, or a festive keepsake, every Brown Lily item is made with care, quality, and intention to be treasured.

What began during the pandemic with simple face masks and hair accessories has grown into a joyful collection of handmade treasures, including custom name towels, cushions, Santa sacks, Easter bunny bags, and more. My designs blend classic and seasonal Liberty prints with playful, modern charm, always with a focus on craftsmanship and individuality.

As a mum of three in a busy family of five, Brown Lily gives me the creative space to do what I love most, to make beautiful, meaningful things that bring joy into other people’s lives.
